The Association of British Philatelic Societies (ABPS) is the National Organisation catering for the needs of collectors through the Federations and local societies and those interested in philately.

Sixteen affiliated Societies offer a wide range of speakers and events covering all aspects of this wonderful hobby and all levels of collecting. The NPS is one of the largest general philatelic societies in Great Britain whose members are drawn from throughout the UK and Overseas. The Society offers the renowned National Philatelic Society Library. The Society holds its Meetings, normally on the second Saturday of the month, at the adjacent Phoenix Centre.
The Great Britain Philatelic Society has a worldwide membership of over 750 with interests spanning all aspects of GB philately. Many of the monthly meetings are held in London with occasional regional meetings around the country. Overseas members frequently join UK residents at these events.
The British Thematic Association (BTA) was founded in 1984. It is the UK’s national association for theme-based philately and postcards.
