Our usual Christmas buffet lunch and a few glasses of wine in December was attended by 42 people. We had our hugely popular raffle with a record number of prizes, the top prize being a £90 hamper.
We enjoyed a light-hearted and fun PowerPoint presentation from Barry Feltham, our secretary on the history of Christmas including the origins, traditions and facts from Neolithic times to the 21st century, along with some funny video clips.
The afternoon was a great success.
