The first meeting of 2022, in January, was a “One-Page Competition” witnessed by 37 members. The idea was to encourage members to participate in meetings and the response was very encouraging as we had 49 entries. The winning entries were as follows:
- Barry Feltham with WW1 Silk Postcards.
- David Bravery with Lesina
- Barry Feltham with the Tower of London.
Even though the numbers of members participating was high, it was not sufficient to fill the entire afternoon. In the second half, member, Graham Mytton gave a very interesting and entertaining presentation on Africa and their use/or non-use of stamps!
